Miles for Miracles 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run:. Saturday, October 11th at 8 a.m.
Welcome to the innaugural running of the Miles for Miracles. Featuring a USATF certified 5 kilometer race, this event is a flat course along the beautiful Lake Hefner in West Oklahoma City. The 1 Mile Fun Run will begin at 8a.m. and the 5K race will be at 8:30a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2008.
The Miles for Miracles 5K was established as a fundraiser for the Ellie Kate Foundation and March of Dimes. The Ellie Kate Foundation was established to help fund reasearch for rare genetic diseases and to help families in the same situation as the McLaughlins were with Ellie Kate.
The Miles for Miracles will include the following Racing Events:
- 5K Race
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
